Warehouse management in FTTH (fiber to the home)
The Netherlands and Belgium are becoming increasingly glazed. The construction of these fiber optic networks is being brought under various projects. About 1.5 million euros in materials are needed for such a project. Maunt takes over the total management of the warehouse at such a project site from the customer. We do this by agreeing on a one-off basis with the relevant project manager on what stock he wants to have. We then ensure that these materials are in stock for them throughout the project.

Censuses and automation
To accomplish this, we do a biweekly count of all materials. We provide this count on location and it ensures that the entire management of the warehouse falls to us. If it appears that products have run out or need to be replenished, we ensure that these products are always delivered the next day. We have fully automated this process, which makes it easy for us to handle. Normally you are not fully in control from both sides, because the project manager has to do the counting himself and we as a supplier have no overview.
Inventory of materials
Prior to the project, we work with our customers to identify what materials are needed to build the network. We supply all the components needed to lay a fiber optic network. These include patch cables, ODF panels and connectors, but also fiber optic tools and fiber optic cleaning products. We make sure these products are always in stock if our customers decide to include them in their warehouse. Maunt offers this consultation and warehouse management at no charge. In this way, we can completely unburden our customers, all materials remain in stock and no unnecessary costs are incurred.
