Anritsu's OTDR MT9085A is a compact handheld all-in-one tester for performing optical pulse tests, optical loss/power measurements and fiber end plane inspections. The device has a wide range of applications, ranging from installation and maintenance of trunk fiber (Core, Metro, Mobile Fronthaul, Mobile Backhaul) to troubleshooting access networks, such as breaks in drop cables. In addition to retaining the controls of previous models using hard keys and a rotary knob, the MT9085A is equipped with a wide, 8-inch, color LCD touchscreen. The Fiber Visualizer feature provides at-a-glance confirmation of the fiber optic transmission path. This variant is a quad OTDR, which means it is suitable for singlemode 1310/1550 and multimode 850/1300 nanometer Wavelengths.
