Prelube 2000, 0.95 ltr
Prelube 2000™ reduces friction during blow-in of fiber optic cable into a tube. It increases the distance of a cable installed in a continuous length. Prelube 2000 can also be used to blow in empty microtubes for future installation of microcable. When blowing in cable, the cable stops moving when the accumulated frictional force equals the blowing force built up during installation. In a straight pipe, the maximum blow-in distance varies linearly with the coefficient of friction. The friction reduction obtained by using Prelube 2000 can increase the installation distance by a factor of 5 or more compared to an unlubricated pipe.
