Cambium Networks was founded as an independent company in 2011, but it has a history dating back to the Motorola Solutions Wireless Business Team. The company has experienced significant growth since then. Cambium's products are used for military deployments. In addition to defense, Cambium Networks also supplies its materials to companies in the industrial, education and healthcare markets.

Cambium Networks offers a wide range of wireless (defense) communications products, including point-to-point (PTP) and point-to-multipoint (PMP) wireless backhaul and connectivity solutions. Maunt's portfolio includes Cambium antennas designed specifically for applications in the defense market, such as the PTP 700 and the PTP 45700.
