Ribbonize tool, RT-02, type D
The RT-02 is Fujikura's latest ribbonizing tool and the first universal tool on the market suitable for forming a temporary ribbon from loose 200 µm or 250 µm fibers. In addition, this is the first tool with a completely glueless process for ribbonizing and splicing 12-fiber ribbons, saving time and costs and eliminating operational inefficiencies such as curing time and contamination of splicing equipment. By simply combining the appropriate fiber holder with the RT-02, both 200 µm and 250 µm fibers can be ribbonized. With this tool, you enjoy the benefits of ribbon splicing when installing the latest generation of loose tube microcables.
