Ripley Miller has developed these fiber optic pliers specifically for 8.5mm draka cables, which are used in FTTH projects. The dismantling tool's dual blades easily cut through the cable jacket (lengthwise) and provide a very precise depth of cut, preventing fiber damage. You can also make a window cut with this cable stripper. The set comes in a black case and includes spare blades. The guide blocks on the tool can be replaced with guide blocks of a different diameter.
