Product Description

This power meter supports 10G-capable PON networks and is compatible with GPON and EPON networks. The power meter is used for insertion loss testing. In addition, the device has a pass-through mode for ONT/ONU verification. In addition to use for PON service activation, this powermeter from Maunt can be used to measure insertion loss (IL) of fiber optic networks in the POP, in conjunction with a light source or PON system module of the optical line terminal (OLT). The powermeter features a loss test mode to take a reference for an accurate insertion loss measurement of the fiber to be tested.
