The Fujikura CT-52 is used to accurately cut glass fibers. This cleaver ensures that the fiber is cut straight, making it easy to splice it to another fiber. The CT-52 also allows the cleave length to be reduced to 8 mm for fibers with a 900 μm buffer and only 3 mm for fibers with coatings of 250 μm and 400 μm.
