A patch cable is commonly used for connecting active equipment to a fiber optic network. This single-mode fiber is of type G.657A1 and is therefore less sensitive to macro-bending. The connectors are tuned according to grade B specification and therefore have a maximum Attenuation (IL) of <0.25dB. The reflection (RL) of each connector is >45dB at PC and >60dB at APC.
