This singlemode cable is a loose tube cable with glass fibers placed in robust tubes and wrapped around a fiber-reinforced plastic strength element. In addition to glass fibers, the tubes also contain water blocking gel and the cable core is tightly sealed to prevent water ingress into the cable core interstices. The cable has a black outer sheath.
