This insulating tape is used to insulate electricity and prevent unwanted currents. The tape does not conduct electricity, making it easy to stick the tape around a conductor. Ordinary tape cannot be used for this purpose because it is flammable. This tape is not. Insulating tape is additionally used to mark cables or fuses that should not be turned on, to secure cable sheaths and to protect edges and prevent damage.
