The connecting factor in our supply chain
As Procurement Specialist, you are the link between our manufacturers, the logistics team and the commercial organization. You ensure that the right products are available at the right time - at the best conditions. You carry out operational procurement, negotiate prices, monitor delivery times and think actively about optimizing processes. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues from Business Management, Inside Sales and Logistics and contribute directly to Maunt's success. Thanks to your analytical ability, commercial attitude and structured approach, you are an indispensable force within our supply chain.
Tasks
- Responsible for operational procurement
- Maintain contact with manufacturers regarding delivery times, prices and order status
- Negotiating purchasing conditions and contracts
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics
- Identify bottlenecks and make improvement proposals
- Actively contribute to process optimization within procurement
- Responsible for monitoring purchasing and translating to sales
Job Requirements
- You have at least a completed college degree in purchasing, supply chain or a commercial field
- 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in operational procurement and/or sales
- You have experience in a purchasing role and affinity with logistics processes
- You are accurate, communicatively strong and organized
- You have a winner's mentality and think solution-oriented
- You speak and write fluent Dutch and English
- You function well in a team as well as independently
