About Vincent Everts
After starting the document management company Cyco Software as an entrepreneur in the United States from 1988-1993, Everts became director of the fledgling Mediaplaza in Utrecht in 1995. Media Plaza's mission was to be the Internet demonstration center where entrepreneurs were introduced to the possibilities of the Internet such as E-commerce. Everts was chairman of the association NGN (4000 network professionals) from 2001 to 2004. He worked with Roel Pieper on projects such as the mileage charging project for the Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management, an innovative project that received much criticism at the time. Vincent Everts has worked for companies and institutions including KPN, NOS and the Ministry of Economic Affairs. Everts was also CEO and investor of the company Innovader. Everts lectures on developments around new technologies and innovation. He had a column with BNR Nieuwsradio and with De Telegraaf. Everts received the Kubbik Prize from the University of Tilburg.
